App Store Description

An app that tracks your alcohol consumption and reminds you to drink water, helping you to avoid hangovers or getting too drunk.

A "rabbit" refers to the lead person in a long distance race that sets the pace for his or her teammates. They are there to make the job easier for their teammates and to make sure they're properly pacing themselves. That is exactly what this app is meant to do, except for alcohol.

It achieves this in a few ways.

The main way it achieves this is simply because you decided you were going to make the effort to keep yourself in check. First and foremost, you're the one who ultimately makes sure you have a fun and responsible night without going too far. This app is simply here to help guide you.

So, here is how it works. If you know you're going to have more than a few drinks, you load the app up and start an "event." The app will ask you if you want to set a limit for yourself (number of drinks), and if you decide to do that, it will remind you when you've reached that limit.

Throughout an event, you will log each drink you order/grab/pour. There are three favorite buttons and a "last drink" button to make it easy on you, but also a menu to add most types of drinks. It isn't meant to be complex; a Shiner Bock is simply a "lager beer" and a cosmopolitan a "vodka juice."

You will also log the waters you drink throughout the event, and if you aren't drinking enough water, the app will make sure to let you know.

In addition to tracking your drinks and water intake, it also estimates how drunk you are. Obviously this can't be 100% accurate, as you aren't putting in the exact volume of your drink or its ABV, but it should be pretty close and consistent. Eventually you'll find your sweet spot and try to stay in that range throughout an event.

During an event, the app also takes your activity and uses it to give you a list of suggestions to help you pace yourself and offers some tips to avoid a hangover.

The next day, or whenever you remember to, you can go to your event history and rate the hangover you had for that event. Eventually you should be able to collect enough data to gauge what causes the bad hangovers and how to avoid them. Water consumption, liquor types, sugary drinks, number of drinks... they all play a role in how you feel the next day and the aim of this app is to pinpoint your main culprits.

You can further analyze your drinking habits by visualizing your data online, and also upload your drinking data with everybody else's. It's anonymous and is just a fun thing to see and use as baseline information.
