日本の伝統色を色から調べるアプリです。
円状のピッカーを用いて、色、相鮮やかさ、明るさを調節してお好みの色をお選び下さい。その色に応じて、JIS規格「物体の色名」によって定められる日本の伝統色から近い色を最大3つまで検索して表示します。元の色と検索結果はそれぞれ16進数表記を、検索結果はその色名とともに知ることができます。
同じ色名でも機器によって色の見え方が異なるのでご注意下さい。特に、iPhone 5以降の機種は際だって鮮やかに表示される傾向にあるようです。
