那珂湊観光ARアプリは、那珂湊駅周辺の観光スポットを巡りやすくするアプリです。ひたちなか市とアートプロジェクト団体みなとメディアミュージアム、那珂湊高校が協力して、2018年に開発しました。
ひたちなか市には、街中の特徴をロゴに含めた、国内でも珍しい案内板があります。その案内板に、アプリを起動してかざすと、那珂湊の観光ポイントの説明文が表示されるようになっています。
さらに、観光ポイントによっては、説明文か写真をタップすると動画が流れ出すこともあります（一部の観光ポイントでは動画がないこともあります）。
