"Easy Directions Lite" is a very easy to use app that points to the direction you want to go. It is different from a conventional compass in that you specifically tell the app which direction you want to head to. Simply click on one of the directions (North, South, East, or West) and the arrow will point you to the correct direction.

So unlike a compass where you have to read from a puny needle with lots of numbers and degrees (which 99% of the time you don't need), this app takes almost no effort to use, read, and understand.

It is the simplicity of this app that makes it useful. When standing in the middle of the road lost, the last thing you want is to look even more awkward trying to read/understand a conventional compass. You have to download this app and use it in the real world before you can truly appreciate its usefulness.
