App Store Description
The app accept user registrations from medical, pharmaceutical service providers and general users termed 'sponsors'.
Sponsors then log on to the app to look for a medical service provider to attend to a dependent (patient). Sponsor can then select a service provider who meets their budget, proximity as well as area of specialty to meet the medical need. Once the patient has been seen, and a script prescription can then be uploaded on the app so that pharmacies in the area can cost the prescription and dispense it after sponsor payment.
All medical and pharmaceutical service providers are manually vetted by our staff with the relevant government bodies in the host country. Service providers supply their practising certificate which our medical team verify manually and ringing relevant bodies for verification.
Modules currently on this version of the app are :
1. eReferral : This is used to find service providers in the locality of the patient. If its a medical provider service request, a price, specialty and service name is provided to the sponsor to give information good enough to decide which provider to choose
2. Prescriptions: A sponsor can upload a previously generated script on to the app, and select a pharamacy to provide costing for the prescription. The sponsor can either approve or reject this cost. If accepted and paid for, the pharmacy is notified and can begin dispensing process.
3. eOutcome: After seeing the patient either in clinic, home visit or over the phone, the medical service provider can, with the patient's consent, provide a clinical outcome to the patient, and a summary of non clinical comment to the sponsor.
4. Procedure Request: While in clinic or as inpatient, the medical service provider can request procedures for a patient. This starts a workflow that notifies the sponsor what the doctor needs to perform on the patient and how much this will cost. If the sponsor agrees and pays, the medical service provider goes ahead and performs the procedure, following patient consent laws of the host country.
