The EasySSI is a mobile application for making easy soil-pile/caisson/foundation interaction analysis. This app has its own specific solver for running the complex interaction system in your mobile platform.
Features are:
EasySSI includes following features:
- 3 Dimensional analysis for soil-pile/caisson interaction system
- Illustrating stress and strain variations in soil for quantifying the soil non-linearity.
- Calculating dynamic and static impedance functions for pile/caisson and foundations (both embedded and surface foundations)
- Visualizing response profile for pile and caisson.
Soil is assumed to be modelled by either elastic continuum (in the current version) or nonlinear Winkler (in the next version). The monotonic, cyclic, and dynamic loading conditions are applied on the foundation system (pile, caisson, surface foundation, and embedded foundation), and the foundation's response is simulated accordingly. The Cone Model for surface and embedded foundations and an elasto-dynamic solution for soil-pile/caisson interaction systems are employed to conduct all analyses. The basic solutions are developed in the frequency domain, and thus are restricted to linear response of the soil for the current version. The EasySSI is focused on computationally efficient approach for modelling sophisticated phenomenon on mobile platforms.
