eCastles - Castles of Argolida, Arcadia, Corinthia

This mobile application provides access to the content of the portal ecastles.culture.gr and efficiently displays 3D virtual representations of castles, taking into account the position and orientation of the portable user device (for Augmented Reality functionality).

It also provides detailed information about the Castles of Corinth, Argolida and Arcadia in multiple ways.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.


App is compatible with devices devices fulfilling the following requirements:
- Devices running iOS 7.0 and up
- Compass
- GPS and / or network positioning
- Accelerometer
- Rear-facing camera

The correct reproduction of 3D reconstructions depends on the technical characteristics of the mobile device.
