Edinburgh CityScope Fieldtrip is a mobile mapping and data collection app. It will allow students, lecturers and researchers to collect data against high quality cartographic maps. The main features of the app are:
-Free to download and use
-High quality background maps that offer rich data in both urban and rural environments
-Map caching to allow off-network usage
-Data capture
-Custom data collection forms that allow users to define the data they want to capture.
This app permits you to have your own server storage set up to talk to. Please, go to https://github.com/edina/fieldtrip-open-dockerisation to see more details about how to create your own server. Once your server is up and running, open your mobile browser and type:
cityscope://?pcapi=YOUR_SERVER_URL
