Egyptian Transliterator
What is it about?
A convenient utility to convert between different ways of displaying and processing the ancient Egyptian language.
App Store Description
A convenient utility to convert between different ways of displaying and processing the ancient Egyptian language.
The Transliterator App handles:
Manuel de Codage to Gardiner Codes, Edel, or Hieroglyphs
Gardiner Codes to Manuel de Codage, Edel, or Hieroglyphs
Transliterated (ála Edel) to Gardiner Codes, Manuel de Codage or Hieroglyphs
Edel is one of the popular variants of German transliteration.
Since these conversions are not always 1:1, the output includes all possible results in brackets where there are multiple possibilities.
Results are updated as you type, or you can paste in long passages. Hitting return on the device keyboard will copy your results to the ClipBoard.
Egyptian Transliterator is not a Dictionary, so you may need to add spaces or dashes between glyph symbols in transliterated texts.
