eHealthPass

eHealthPass Smart Vaccination Certificate application, endorsed by the Health Service Executive, enables citizens to view and share the COVID-19 smart vaccination certificate where needed.



In particular, eHealthPass offers the following functionality to the citizens:

1) Instantly view the COVID-19 smart vaccination certificate and its details at any time on the phone.

2) Share the COVID-19 smart vaccination certificate using one of the following options:

a. Via Mobile Device. A mobile version of the certificate, including the QR code, is presented on the user’s screen and can be scanned by third authorities when requested, e.g. at the boarding gate of the airport.

b. Via Email. The users can select to e-mail the smart vaccination certificate to any requesting authority, e.g. government service.

c. Via file download on the phone. The users have the option to download the certificate on their phone.

d. Via Digital PostBox. If the users have an active Digital Postbox account, they can send a copy of the certificate in their account.

3) Empowerment to control access to the certificate. The users can specify a) the number of times the certificate is allowed to be scanned and b) the validity period. They can also, at any time, revoke access to the certificate.

4) View their Healthcare Record. In this app version, the users can access their immunisation record. In future versions they will also have access to prescriptions and dispensations.
