Gracepoint’s Elderly Care Ministry began in 2008 when we first visited a local nursing home to host a worship service. There we found a warm welcome and people who needed to hear the great news of God’s love for them. So we kept going. We went on Sundays and evenings for a chance to share the gospel and to remind the residents that they are loved by God. Our group started with post college men and women, but we have been joined by college students and even youth. Twelve years later and we’ve expanded across 4 states to serve 27 locations and over 2,000 residents! Our vision is to see a worship service in each of the 15,000 nursing homes in America so that even illness and age won’t keep anyone from hearing the good news of great joy.
