EliTusk is a platform that promotes the investigation and prosecution of wildlife crimes in Asia and elsewhere through interactive tools and innovative solutions developed by the UNODC Global Programme on Combatting Wildlife and Forest Crime
With illicit wildlife trafficking recognized as regional and global issue, the law enforcement authorities will need to work together to address challenges innovatively. Rapid enforcement reference guidance as well as secured access to investigation techniques and training resources are important factors to build national, regional and inter-regional responses to wildlife crime. EliTusk ensures that these resources are always accessible to all officers in possession of a smartphone or a tablet, both online and offline and in a multilingual learning environment. The tools in EliTusk are developed by UNODC in partnership with national and international experts from Governments, International Organizations and Non-Governmental Organization. Access to EliTusk is restricted to law enforcement personnel who will obtain access after receiving credentials from UNODC.
