eLog

E-Log system provides an electronic logbook that aims to replace the paper one adding new innovative functionalities and useful services.

In detail, E-Log System:
- provides an electronic logbook - i.e. no more paper artefacts but digital ones - realizing a heterogeneous and highly available system capable of offering acquisition, management, recording and archiving services of all the events to be recorded according to the methods and the timing described and required by the currently applicable international legislation;
- supports Captains and Officers to fill the logbook in a faster, simplified and more accurate way, for example providing the set of all recurring events of interests – i.e. checklists, entries, etc. – or offering wizards that enables the Users to fill the logbook in an assisted and no more error prone way.
- provides in near-realtime to the FOC - Fleet Operation Centre - an updated and official logbook copy of any ship wherever it is;
- let the FOC to have full visibility and control of all the events and operations performed on board, in a fast and clear way.
