ELSA Location and Arrangement is part of the Early Learning STEM Australia (ELSA) program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training and managed by the University of Canberra.
This app is only for children participating in ELSA. It is the second ELSA children’s app, following Patterns and Relationships.
In order to use this app, educators taking part in ELSA will need to download it and then connect it to the ELSA Educators app using a pairing code.
ELSA is a play-based digital learning program for children in preschool to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). ELSA apps are aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
ELSA Location and Arrangement is full of opportunities for children to play and engage with STEM Practices while moving objects on shelves and using positional language, hiding and finding animated (augmented reality) animal cards, arranging playground equipment on a map and then working out who took the photos, and following directions to navigate through a zoo.
