Energy Safety Passport Guide

The Energy Safety Passport (ESP) is the Appalachian basin-wide standardized onboarding and safety training program recommended to access oil and gas worksites designed and endorsed by several of the basin's largest producers and service providers. This course begins with an overview of employer and employee rights and responsibilities and covers personal safety, protective equipment, processes and procedures for particular sites, risk/hazard assessment, chemical hazards and mobile equipment/vehicle safety.

Upon completion, all participants will receive a Certificate of Course Completion as well as a wallet card.

This ESP Reference Guide contains material for the trainee to access during the course on-site, and can also be used as a primer prior to taking the course and a refresher in the future.

The Guide contains:
- Game levels based on key topics in the course,
- Interactive 3D models to learn specific site equipment, and
- Content describing the major components taught during the course.
