Engage Teacher is an app and server system that allows teachers the flexibility to present content from an iPad, a computer or several video sources to the entire classroom while freely roaming the room with an iPad. For optimal performance, this iPad app should be used with a Pointmaker CPN-5600 with internal Engage server.

The Pointmaker system (about the size of a ream of standard paper), is typically connected to AV equipment, such as a laptop, document camera, DVD player and more.

With the Engage Teacher app, you automatically create a snapshot of your iPad content, leaving the original file untouched and making the new content more flexible for use in presentations and collaboration. Open, zoom and pan content such as:

+ Photos from your Photo Stream or the app’s integrated camera

+ PowerPoint presentations

+ Excel spreadsheets

+ Word docs

+ PDFs

+ Web pages, including pages with live video

Other Engage Teacher features allow teachers to:

+ Share iPad content with student iPads, as well as large screen displays for the whole class to see.


+ Share images from AV equipment connected to the Pointmaker system, including document cameras, laptops, DVD players and more.


+ Display content on a variety of devices such as projectors, Apple TV and many touch screen displays (contact us for compatible touch screens).
