EpiCore is a virtual community of health professionals using innovative surveillance methods to verify outbreaks of infectious diseases. It is an innovative system that aims to complement existing surveillance methods and speed up the process of finding, reporting and verifying public health events. It uses a worldwide network of health experts that, through a secure online reporting platform, have the opportunity to provide information about ongoing public health events. Members are potentially contributing to a faster public health response of communities and health organizations involved at local and international levels. The EpiCore app features public infectious disease event summaries. EpiCore members will be able to access the responder dashboard.
