ESCRS Winter Meeting 2018
What is it about?
On behalf of the ESCRS Board it is my pleasure to present you the officital App for the 22nd ESCRS Winter Meeting. We are very pleased to be joining our colleagues from the Serbian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons for this important event. The scientific programme continues to include an extended didactic programme, with courses in Basic Optics, Cataract, Refractive Surgery and Cornea. Our Young Ophthalmologists Programme, which has proved such a success in recent years, takes place on Friday morning. We hope these courses will offer a valuable opportunity for residents and those in training to gain a deeper understanding of the basics of the different sub-specialties. The programme also includes four main symposia, free paper sessions, moderated poster sessions, eposter presentations and a range of surgical skills training courses. The Annual Cornea Day on Friday has been organised once again in conjunction with EuCornea and we would like to thank them for their continued participation in the Meeting. The Near Live Surgery session and the Sunday morning symposium on 'Developing Cataract and Refractive Surgery in a Developing Country' have been organised by the Serbian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. I would like to thank everyone involved for their contribution to the scientific programme. With so much on offer, it will be impossible to attend every session. However, if you log on to the Education Portal on the ESCRS website, you can access the sessions and didactic courses on ESCRS On Demand and ESCRS iLearn, as well as discover a wide range of video content and other materials. I hope you find the Meeting beneficial and rewarding, and that you enjoy your time in Belgrade.
