App Store Description
Esmi asks you questions that help researchers learn from you while you go about your day. The questions you'll be asked are written specifically for a study in which you've agreed to participate.
In most studies Esmi will ask questions over a period of days or weeks, a few times a day at semi-random times. When questions are ready for you, Esmi will notify you according to your settings, the same way email and other apps send you notifications. Questions may be asked one at a time or in short questionnaires. Questionnaires may be the same, completely different, or slightly different each time you see them.
To get started with Esmi, you'll need a studycode, which will be provided to you by your research team. The studycode tells the app what questions to ask, and when to ask them. Your responses are recorded in the app, and shared with your study team later.
PRIVACY
Esmi will never ask for your name or any other personally identifying information, and does not record any information specific to your device. Your data and responses are stored only on your device until you share them with the researchers for your study. Uninstalling the app removes all of the data from the device.
