The 'European Union in International Affairs' (EUIA) Conference provides a major forum for academics and policy-makers to debate the role of the EU in the turbulent realm of international affairs. The seventh edition takes place from 26 to 28 May 2021 and focuses on the theme 'Assessing the EU's Capacity to Act'.
#EUIA21 will be held virtually through a high-quality online conferencing tool. A mobile app will be an essential companion to the Digital Event Platform. It allows to send messages and receive notifications about changes etc. It will also allow for networking & making appointments with colleagues and presenters.
The EUIA conference is jointly organized by The Institute for European Studies at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (IES-VUB), the Institut d'Études Européennes at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (IEE-ULB), the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS), Egmont – the Royal Institute for International Relations and Politics and International Studies (PAIS) department at the University of Warwick.
