Starvation, sickness and dust storms were among a few of the awful side effects of that trip west. But there's a little known secret that took the lives of many settlers. Something that hasn't been uncovered until recently by many historians and anthropologists.

They've uncovered strong evidence leading to the truth of the zombie herds which decimated many of the American heroes heading west for prosperity.
