App Store Description

The eXperiBot Kids app, the visual code editor for the educational robot eXperiBot from Cornelsen Experimenta, provides primary school children with a playful introduction to programming.

The app is designed for use in school lessons and optimally prepares students in grades 1 to 4 for the challenges of the digital world—be it operating robots, using apps, or using digital tools. Thanks to the intuitive drag-and-drop operation of the block editor, which requires no reading skills, and the simple execution of the designed programs on the eXperiBot learning robot, programming sequences can be quickly understood and created.

The eXperiBot learning robot clearly promotes spatial awareness and spatial orientation—in line with the curriculum. Primary school children practice computational thinking by navigating the robot from start to finish on a play mat. The patented, modular plug-in system of the eXperiBot enables quick deployment without the need for complicated assembly. Free task cards with specific programming suggestions are available in German on the Cornelsen store under the name “Aufgabenkarten: Wege programmieren in der Grundschule”.

With the eXperiBot and the eXperiBot Kids app, math and computer science in primary school becomes an exciting experience!
