Paint with the camera on your device! The colors are all around you!

EyePaint offers your child the opportunity to create amazing images alongside world-renowned artists, by completing their illustrations and making them their own.

Featured in the New and Noteworthy Education Category (December 2012)

"Eye Paint Animals, by Curious Hat, is one of the most innovative and invigorating apps we’ve seen to date.
They strive to design tools for children that encourage discovery play and foster creativity, they succeed spectacularly."
Teacher with Apps

-Paint with the camera capturing colors, patterns and textures around you
-Illustrations from Italian artist Giorgio Cavazzano
-Tap to select an area or use the brush for finer control
-Continue where you left off or start a new painting session
-Save your work to the Photo Library for later sharing and printing
-Stuck? Wait for the hand to tell you what to do!
-No social sharing options

The final result is a drawing full of organic features, shades and details that cannot be achieved with any other traditional painting app.

The EyePaint interface is colorful, animated and extremely simple - even for very young children.

Tapping on any area in the drawing will reveal the live camera image. The Camera Shutter button then appears enabling users to capture their chosen pattern.

The child is encouraged to explore their surroundings to find the right match for that particular area: a detail from a book page, for example, or a piece of clothing, furniture, or a leaf.
The creative possibilities are endless.

The ‘Brush’ option allows users to limit themselves to a specific area where the camera signal appears, allowing for even more possibilities.

The images created can be saved to the device’s Photo Library by tapping the Star icon.
