Ezra Companion

The Ezra Companion is the official app for Ezra, the premier Science Olympiad tournament management system.

*Tournament Information*
Science Olympiad tournaments often have a lot of information that needs to be digested. You can view all of this information right on your phone, without needing to go to Ezra on an Internet browser.

*Tournament Map*
It can be hard to navigate a venue you've never been to before, especially college campuses and large schools. If the tournament staff has created a map specifically for the tournament, you can view it right on your phone. If not, you can open the location of your tournament in a native maps application (Apple Maps, Google Maps, etc.)

*Push Notifications*
Getting in touch with lots of people all at once can be tricky. Social media makes this easy, but isn't something more direct a little more visible? Tournament organizers can broadcast notifications on one of two channels: Public, for everyone to receive, and Staff Only, for sensitive information that does not need to be seen by other people. Anyone with the app opened and who has opted-into notifications for a specific tournament will receive push notifications sent through Ezra.

*Customizable Schedule*
It's happened before: You've forgotten that your next event is in ten minutes, and you have no idea where it is. Not anymore! If tournament staff specifies the location of time and location of events, competitors can create their own schedule that sends reminders based on where and when they need to be. If locations are not specified, competitors will still get notifications for build event signups created through Ezra.

*Results*
Easily view the results page from a tournament once the results have been made public. Available information depends on the settings specified by tournament staff, which includes at least the places for every team in every event.
