eZwayZ "easy ways"

EZWAYZ NAVIGATION MAKES BUILDINGS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
eZwayZ (pronounced easy ways) is an inclusive indoor navigation app that enables independent indoor navigation for people with a visual impairment. It is an inclusive app developed with the visually impaired to be used by everyone.

REGISTER LOCATIONS
At the moment, you can test the app at the following locations in the Netherlands: Atrium Bartiméus in Zeist, NEMO Science Museum Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and in the hall of Arnhem train station.

FOLLOW THE VIBE
The app guides you to your destination with a combination of visual route display, audio and hapric (vibrates and makes sound when you are going the right way), and spoken route instructions. You can choose which combination best suits your own abilities.

You can use it to determine your location, plan your route and explore your surroundings: what is in my immediate vicinity?

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION BEFORE USING THE APP
Please note that this app is still in a testing phase. People who are blind should use the app ONLY UNDER SUPERVISION.

Please read the quick-start or manual carefully before using the app. The quick-start starts automatically when you install the app for the first time. You can find the manual in the app's settings.

The app is NOT a substitute for your orientation and mobility skills but is meant as an additional tool. It is not a replacement for e.g. a white cane, guide dog or primary mobility aid. It is important for your personal safety to be aware of your surroundings at all times while using the app. You can, of course, also have someone accompany you, which might even make it more fun!

SUITABLE IPHONE WITH INTERNET CONNECTION
We recommend at least an iPhone 8 or newer for the app to work properly. The app needs an internet connection so make sure you are connected to a wifi network or turn on your mobile internet.
