Familias Activas is a family-based program for Latino parents and youth. The app, along with in-person sessions (including physical activity), aims to improve the health and family relations of youth and their parents to ultimately strengthen youth’s mental health.
Throughout the program, participants will learn:
1) Healthy family relations skills and team building
2) Soccer tactics through drills and scrimmages
3) Health practices improving emotional, psychological, and social well-being
