FearShrinker

FearShrinker(TM) is an audio-enabled app designed for the young child (ages 4 - 8) who is scared or worried. FearShrinker (TM) teaches ways to cope with fears and worries including every day events, new situations or people and worries about challenging events. With FearShrinker(TM) the child identifies his/her fears and worries, selects from a menu of effective strategies, and practices favorites by following along along with kid-friendly "Puffy the fish" and narrator "Shelly."

To use, a parent may hand FearShrinker(TM) to the child when they are experiencing fear yet they are actually safe. After the child plays with the program, the parent and child can view the results summary together. In this way, the parent and child can learn the child's most effective coping strategies to increase the child's successes.
FearShrinker offers parents the option to receive a summary email of what your child learned and practiced.
