FI Helper

Designed for law enforcement and others needing to record identity information, FI Helper allows professionals to quickly record biographical information during field contacts by scanning the PDF-417 barcode on driver’s licenses and ID cards. In addition to scanning, details can be entered manually. Collected information can then be sent directly to an email account of the user’s choosing in the form of data or as a customizable PDF report.

Details are pulled from the driver’s license/ID Card barcode or can be manually entered. Depending on state some information such as race, phone, and description must be manually entered. The user can choose to write notes on the contact in the bottom part of the form. This information can then be emailed for later reference.

FI Helper also has an integrated age checker to assist with quickly determining a person's age from their ID.
When this feature is enabled, the background will light up green for 21 or older, yellow for 18 to 20, and red for subjects under age 18.
