This is not your typical budgeting tool. Knowing where your money has gone may be interesting, but it's not really all that useful. Once it's gone, it's gone. Forget about it! What you really need to know, is where you are financially at this moment, and even more importantly, where you will be in the future.
The purpose of Financially Free is to help you try to foresee that financial future and give you the ability to guide it in the direction you want.

Many years ago, after much frustration with my financial situation I decided something needed to be done so I set about learning as much as I could about managing my money and reducing my level of debt. The subject can actually become very interesting as your education grows and emotion becomes a lesser player in your financial decisions.
There is no one right way to go, it's different for everyone, so I will leave you to do your own research into the subject and find what works for you. What I can do for you though, is share with you my method of forecasting and controlling my finances. I have been using this system now for quite a few years and it makes it simple to keep track of your financial situation and make the smart decisions required to get ahead. It almost becomes a game trying to keep things in the green (you will see what I mean by that in the tutorial!).
Ok, I probably won't be able to help myself, and will likely suggest a few of the things I have learnt that have worked for me as well.
There is no rocket science involved, and you can do this with a spreadsheet as I did if you like but I decided to make it easy for myself and developed this App that simplified the whole process.
