Fireside - Cloud Synced Podcasts

Fireside is an internet service that keeps track of your podcasts episodes and subscriptions, so that you don't have to worry about them. It syncs them to your devices, and to the web.

⁕ Your unplayed list, subscriptions, progress for each podcast, and favorites stay in sync across every device, and can also be accessed on the web at http://www.fireside.fm.
⁕ Control your subscriptions and episodes from the web or the app.
⁕ Search for new podcasts from within the app, and play or save episodes from those shows without subscribing to that podcast!
⁕ Plays mp3 and m4a podcasts
⁕ All podcasts are updated at once, so you don't have to wait for each feed individually
⁕ Access the show notes while listening to a podcast

Smart Downloading
⁕ Saves the podcast to the device as you stream it; if you don't finish a podcast in one sitting, you don't have to stream it again, saving you battery life and bandwidth
⁕ Podcasts automatically reconnect if the connection is lost, dropped, or changed. Downloads will automatically resume when
⁕ your 3G connection drops and comes back
⁕ you leave your Wifi network and join a cellular network
⁕ Fireside will also use a Wifi network if possible, even if the download or streaming was started on a cellular network.
⁕ Fireside will download podcasts in the background.
⁕ Fireside gives you control over your downloaded podcasts

Synchronization
⁕ Fireside will keep your podcasts, their statuses, and your subscriptions all in sync.
⁕ If you make changes while offline, they will be pushed to the server when your device comes back online.
