STARTING A TRIP

The Fish Nuggets fish log is organized around fishing trips. The trip begins when you launch your boat or get to your fishing spot. At this point hit the Start Fishing button. Fish Nuggets automatically begins tracking your GPS location, weather conditions, and date and time. At the prompt, select the rod you are using and the lure/bait from the list. Adding a new rod or lure is as easy as taking a picture of it. Changing rods and lures is done by clicking on the picture.


LOGGING A CATCH

There are two ways to track catches. Use the Quick Catch button to log only the catch and the species. Use the Log Catch button to capture additional information like photos, water temp, length or weight. Whichever way the catch is entered Fish Nuggets fishing app automatically captures GPS location, weather and date and time.


MARKING A FEATURE

Logging a feature or waypoint is done by clicking the Mark Feature button. A photo and note can be added and GPS location is automatically tracked. Some feature types are:
• Structure
• Rocks
• Weeds
• No Fish
• Marina
• Note
• Shore Access
• And others …..


ENDING A TRIP

Click the Stop Fishing button, enter a name for the trip and add any additional notes to end trip tracking.


REVIEWING TRIPS

All your trips are listed on the trips screen. Find the trip that you would like to review and click on it. The trip detail screen contains a timeline of all activity during the trip and an interactive map with easy to see icons. Click on the catch or feature from either the map or the timeline to drilldown and review the details logged.
