Fishing in Astrakhan

We present a digital version of the detailed paper map Fishing in Astrakhan.
The map is in Russian.
The map shows fishing bases in Astrakhan—to make it easier to get to a fishing point. It also shows kilometer posts placed along main roads.
The app features a fisherman’s calendar, information on how it’s better to fish and what tackles to use. There is also a schematic map showing shops for fishermen in Astrakhan. The app also features useful addresses and telephone numbers.
The map is brought to you by a renowned cartographic publishing house AGT Geocenter. The edition is realized in the unique style of the company—the style that was acknowledged as one of the best in the world.

The road network is presented; road numbers are indicated, as well as the distances between main intersections. Petrol stations, main sights, theatres and cinemas, circuses, malls and other objects which may be of interest to tourists are shown.

Our app brings these excellent paper maps into the mobile age, helping to ensure they continue to provide you with both knowledge and enjoyment – it would be a tragedy if they were relegated only to libraries, inaccessible to most people. We want to give a second life to paper maps. This app is for people who love good old printed maps and want to go with the times.
