In Goo form you can jump around without consuming green bits but you are vulnerable to enemy attacks. In Flame form you can fly and defeat enemies but you consume green bits.

Advanced mechanics, state of the art graphics, award worthy audio and a complex story. Those would be very nice things to have, but unfortunately they are not included.
Instead this game has 88 hand crafted levels, a few hidden secrets, a bit of fun and lots of unique challenges.
The game is not very noob friendly I'm afraid, so here are a few tips for game play:
Collectable green bits act as currency and life/energy. For example, you need 10 green bits to start the latest unbeaten level from the map. Beating a level and advancing to the next does not cost green bits.
Goo can jump in any direction and does not consume green bits, except when taking damage.
I know you can figure the rest out your self. Have fun.
