I built Focus because I was tired of being busy instead of productive.

Every to-do app I tried was a trap. They pushed me to add more, track more, and organize endlessly. They were procrastination enablers designed for clutter, not clarity. Their goal was my engagement, not my progress.

What I needed wasn't a better way to manage a long list, but a tool that forced me to shorten it. A tool to help me say "no" to the noise and return, again and again, to what truly matters.
