Introducing The Forfar Golf Club - App.

The Forfar Golf Club is a private members Club that provides both its members and visitors with an excellent golfing experience combined with great service from start to finish. The course is both beautifully presented and carefully maintained against a back drop of the Angus glens that stays true to its natural heathland setting presenting golfers of all standards with a set of unique challenges for anyone wishing a memorable days golf in Scotland. Our Clubhouse provides a relaxing and comfortable environment to enjoy the hospitality and superb catering on offer.

Originally laid out by Tom Morris of St Andrews in 1871 with alterations being made in 1926 by James Braid the course design is a combination by two golfing greats with no less than 9 Open Championships between them and is of a quality that it has hosted national championships and has twice been the venue for the Scottish PGA Championship, the Scottish Boys Stroke Play and the Girls Home Internationals. Most recently in July 2011, the Club hosted the Scottish Boys Under 16s Championship won by Ben Kinsley of St Andrews.

For the Golfers, the app features the Whole in One Golf GPS Range Finder and Digital Guide to playing the 18 Hole Championship Course. The App works as a virtual aid, giving you a 3D Flyover of each hole, and a pin positioning system.
