Fostair® Patient Support App

This app has been provided by Chiesi Limited to support patients, and carers of patients, in the UK who have been prescribed a specific medicine called Fostair® (beclometasone + formoterol).

The app helps users:

• To remember when to take their medicine and how much to take by sending dose-due reminders and motivational messages
• To improve their technique with their inhaler device by providing an instructional video demonstrating the correct technique
• To note important events in their treatment so that these can be discussed with their healthcare professional

This app is not intended to replace the advice of healthcare professionals. Speak to your treating doctor, nurse or pharmacist if you have any questions regarding your treatment or condition, including device technique, the number of puffs you have been prescribed or missed doses.

Reporting of side effects: If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in the package leaflet. You can also report side effects directly via the Yellow Card Scheme at: www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard. By reporting side effects, you can help provide more information on the safety of this medicine.

This app is intended for UK patients only aged 18 years and older.
