App Store Description

Fringer's Datapad is an electronic character sheet for a series of role-playing games for the Star Wars universe by Fantasy Flight Games (FFG). The RPG's include "Edge of the Empire", "Age of Rebellion" and "Force and Destiny". Since these games all use the same core mechanics, Fringer's Datapad can be used with them all.

The App is not a character generator, but instead imports the character sheet information produced by "Oggdude's Star Wars Character Generator" (https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/89135-another-character-generator/). Once you have created a character using Oggdude's program, you can export the data as an XML file, and upload the file to the Datapad companion web-site: http://fringer.space.

Create a personal account on the web-site, where you can store the data of number of characters. Once this is done, enter your account credentials (email and password) in Datapad, and the App will automatically transfer the data to your iPad.

You can also create custom "Data Sets" with the Oggdude's SW Data Editor in order to add additional information about Talents, Weapons, Armor and other gear to your character sheet. This information can be exported as a ZIP file, and transferred to Datapad via the fringer.space web-site.

Fringer's Datapad stores character specific data in a .xpad file. A backup of this file is made on the fringer.space web-site, whenever you press "Sync with Server" to transfer data to and from the App.
