What is it about?

The Florida Surplus Lines Service Office has created a mobile app that will allow surplus lines agents to stay up to date with compliance and industry information from the convenience of their mobile device. The app offers several features such as individual licensee filing statistics, compliance information, and industry data. Each agent now has the capability to view their own reported data, including totals for premium and policy fees, taxes, fees, assessments, and policy and transaction counts for the current and three prior quarters. Agents will have the ability to submit their quarterly affidavit, identify the number of outstanding Transactions in Question (TIQ), and view their surplus lines license self-appointment expiration date with a link to their DFS MyProfile account. Anywhere you are, reports can be produced to provide industry information for the current and previous quarter. The Industry Data section will provide insurer and coverage code data, which can be customized and saved.
