Gather is a mobile app that provides a better way for students to coordinate last-minute social gatherings. Rather than having to send or reply to a vacuous "anyone want to hang out?" message in a group chat, Gather allows users to create and accept substantial event invites that contain all key logistical facts: time, location, activity, only requesting that invitees give a straightforward can-go/can't-go RSVP response (much like Facebook Events, the difference being that Gather facilitates smaller, more informal last-minute gatherings).
