Gemily: family chores&behavior

Gemily transforms managing family routines and behaviors into a fun, engaging process. Designed to help kids develop good habits and reward their accomplishments, Gemily uses a gamified system that fosters positive reinforcement and family teamwork.

Features:

- Jobs: Adults can assign tasks or jobs based on the children’s ages, abilities, and interests. Each job is rewarded with gems upon completion, helping to motivate and engage children in productive activities.

- Fines: Constructively address undesirable behaviors by assigning fines. This method teaches children accountability in a straightforward and effective way.

- Gems: Children earn gems by completing jobs. Parents receive a notification when a job is completed and must confirm it before gems are awarded. These gems act as a virtual currency, motivating continued good behavior and task completion.

- Rewards: Children (with help from their parents) choose rewards they would like to earn and set a "price" in gems. Once they have enough gems in their balance, they can "buy" the reward. Parents get the final say by approving or rejecting the purchase.


How It Works

- Add Jobs: Create a list of jobs for each child, assigning default gem values that you can adjust to reflect different priorities. For instance, if focusing on educational development is key, you might allocate more gems for jobs related to learning and studying.

- Prioritizing Tasks: Customize the distribution of gems according to the skills or habits you wish to encourage, such as academic excellence or healthier eating habits.

- Assign Fines for Misbehavior: Use fines to communicate the consequences of inappropriate actions, deducting gems as needed to reinforce the lessons.

- Earn and Spend Gems: Once a job is confirmed completed by a parent, gems are awarded. Children can then use these gems to "purchase" rewards, integrating fun into daily responsibilities.

Comprehensive Job List: Instead of daily or weekly tasks, all jobs are maintained in a single list and remain visible even after completion, allowing children to repeat them as needed without the tasks disappearing from the list.
