Genie Lights

Genie Lights App from Hymax Inc on iPhone is a typical Internet Of Things mobile application using MQTT protocol to first talk with our cloud side broker servers (paid 3rd cloud service vendors), which further talks with the registered smart light IoT electronic devices that are developed by Hymax Inc to provide a super safe, fancy and portable digital 24-bit RGB lights. Consumers first need use this APP to set up the smart device(s) to get WiFi Internet hooked up. Through a same predefined MQTT server link at both ends, new server link can also be added to replace the default link by advanced IoT users.
This simple consumer-oriented APP mainly sends out dozens of IoT commands from iPhone, via Cloud server, to the selected IoT device (e.g. turn on/off, change colors/patterns/brightness/music/volume/sensor parameters) from anywhere anytime, interprets the device status report, and is able to trigger smart device's Over The Air (OTA) firmware update.
This APP only depends on iPhone's general WiFi or Cellular Internet connection (no access to SIM, GPS, PhoneBook, any user accounts), while those peer side smart devices only use WiFi networking connection.
