The Get app gives users the option to connect to peer support from a peer engagement educator professional (PEEP). Users can connect to a PEEP through secure messaging, voice calling, and scheduled in-person meetings all within the app. PEEPs are knowledge about health and give users a convenient way to answer questions and link to healthcare services. The Get app is full of informative entertaining content which is frequently updated, and offers users monthly workouts, meditation, current health trends, recipes, nutrition guidance, celebrity messages, interviews, and lifestyle guidance. The Get app is accompanied by the gripping graphic serial “Tested.” Tested is a glimpse into the world of Terrence Davis, an openly gay young man whose life, on the surface, seems perfect - He's got a good group of friends, money in the bank, and he's in the chorus of the hottest show on Broadway. Things are looking pretty good. But it all comes crashing down when his younger brother, Dewan, runs away from his foster family and shows up at Terrence's door. Terrence must reckon with his past and his present, the choices he's made and the life that he's lived, and decide the kind of brother and the kind of man he wants to be. The cast of characters include Lily, Terrence's trans roommate, Malik, his down-low hookup, Luis, his trainer and dealer, Kay and Rich, his brunch buddies, and Dr. Johnson. This mix of gay, straight, Trans, rich, poor, black, white, brown, closeted, old and young are part of what weave together the rich tapestry of Terrence's life, but each also has their own thread which can be followed as well. Nothing in life is ever a given, and each of these characters, by and by, will be tested. Users can comment on weekly posts of the Tested serial and engage in conversation with the PEEP and other users about the topics discussed in each episode.
