App Store Description

This app makes it very easy to have a look at the EPG of your MythTV-PVR and to check what recordings are set. And to add recordings. This is much easier than using MythWeb on your mobile device.
It is quick and simple to use. The only setup needed is to specify the connection details of your MythTV-backend server: hostname or IP-address, and port (usually 6544).

The current version has the following functionality:
- Browsing the EPG, one channel at a time. An infinite list of items, that loads increments as you go, for as long as there is EPG-data.
- Scheduled recordings are marked in the EPG
- Browse through channels in the EPG
- Setting connectivity details (as a separate settings bundle in your device' settings.
- Similarly: list of programs that will be recorded (upcoming recordings)
- From both EPG and Upcoming recordings list, you can tap to open the program details page.
- From the program details, you can start a one-off recording of that program.
v Showing the list of recording programs.
v Full recording options, using all MythTV's facilities: recurring, search-based, one-offs, etc. etc.
v Deleting recordings (slide recorded program left and tap Delete)
v Search the EPG: sliding down reveals the search box. The scope of a search action is all programs and all dates. From the search results you can tap through to the program details, manage recordings, etc.
v Push To TV (PTTV)

Releasing this functionality introduces the need for authorization. Solution is yet to be discussed and decided.

For future versions (tentatively June/July 2019): playing recordings on your iOS-device. This involves setting up HLS-streaming on your MythTV-backend server, so if you want to use this, be prepared to do some plumbing there.

Feature requests are welcome.
