App Store Description

Goodnight saga gives you 19 fairy tales suitable for your kid's bedtime. The format is suitable for reading on your mobile or perhaps on your Internet-connected tablet.

Some stories are newly written; others are old folklore fairy tales. The new ones are written by Inga-Lill Ottosson, who has a background as a primary school teacher. She has told many fairy tales to her pupils and bedtime stories to her grandchildren over the years. She has now written down some of these tales.

We also publish fairy tales written by the Danish author HC Andersen, the Brothers Grimm, and Charles Perrault. These stories are in Public Domain and most of the texts we have got from the Project Gutenberg.

Reading to children is important for many reasons and is a part of children’s development. It makes them understand the words and context on their way to building their own language and to understand the world around them. It also creates a desire to read. It is also important that children have the opportunity to create their own internal images by listening to a story without external images. This train the children to eventually do the reverse, i.e., to write stories based on their own thoughts.
