Smart Idle Detection: When the "GoodRoad" app runs in the background, it intelligently senses if you've been stationary for an extended period (e.g., waiting for a passenger, or a food order) and triggers the recording mechanism.

Automatic Recording Mode (Default): No manual effort needed! In "Automatic Mode," "GoodRoad" will automatically capture the GPS coordinates of your stop, attempt to fetch a readable address name, and save it along with the time, your preset service type (Taxi/Food Delivery), and other info. Once recorded, you'll receive a notification confirming the location has been successfully added, including its cloud sync status (if logged in).

Manual Prompt Mode (Optional): Prefer more control? Switch to "Manual Prompt Mode." The app will still detect your idle status in the background but will send a notification asking if you'd like to record the location. If you tap the notification, a confirmation dialog will appear the next time you open the app, letting you easily decide whether to save the spot.

One-Tap Quick Add Current Hotspot: Using the app? Just tap the "Quick Add" button on the main screen to instantly log your current location, time, and reference address. Perfect for those spots you discover on the fly!

Detailed Notes for Your Custom Location Book: Need more details? You can always manually add or edit locations with specific names, precise coordinates, popular times/days, customer/order type notes, lunar calendar dates, and service categories.

Cloud Sync for Your Personal Hotspot Guide (Login Required)



Register and log into your "GoodRoad" account, and all your valuable location records (whether added automatically in the background or manually) will be securely synced to the cloud. Switch devices (worry-free) – your data is safe!

You can choose to anonymously share your hotspot experiences with the "GoodRoad" community, helping other drivers and benefiting from shared insights.
