What is it about?

R.G. Hemm Creations offers this digital version of the first book in the Googaloos Adventure series entitled The Stones of Power. This is a story of adventure, similar to the epic fantasy genre created by J.R.R. Tolkien. The story contains all of the classic elements of a fantasy tale, and the authors have taken great care to adapt the story to a younger audience, between six and twelve years of age. The illustrations of this book propel the young reader to a distant, imaginary past, filled with fantastical creatures including dragons, cephalopods, monstrous ogres, winged animals, sorcerers and fairies. The plot develops around supernatural characters, the Googaloos, who are gifted with great powers. Born from the union of a lion and a dragon, the Googaloos embark on an extraordinary quest through many lands, discovering the Stones of Power and ensuring that they do not fall into the hands of the demon Bothol. Surrounded by his fellow soldiers, king Bokar Bok, the main hero of this fantasy tale, must do everything possible to protect his kingdom from destruction and save the White Cherry Tree, a gift from their dragon mother, Orpha, and the secret to their extraordinary longevity.

Through each of their adventures, the Googaloos discover new Stones of Power. Aware of the evil and dangers that may arise from misuse of the Stones of Power, the Googaloos distrust the ogres Bath and Strabath, the Zoufs, bandits of the worst kind, and Zoth, the sorcerer, who try by any means to give the Stones of Power to Bothol so that he can unleash his malice upon mortal races.
