App Store Description

Gotham Edifice enables you to view public information about New York City addresses. You can see details about the physical location, its zones and districts, as well as lists of related data from various City Agencies.

The displayed information includes:
* Address details (borough, block, lot, building ID number, etc.)
* Physical data (speed limit, street width, etc.)
* Hurricane Evacuation Zone, Police & Fire data, Sanitation schedules
* Election zones and other district data

Additionally, the following items from City agencies are listed:
* Department of Buildings (DOB) Job Filings
* DOB Complaints
* DOB Violations
* 311 Service Requests
* Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) Violations

Search by tapping the map. Alternatively, the address search screen features autocomplete, for speedy address finding. There is also a list of recent searches, for convenience.

Any of the found items can be marked as a favorite. Favorite items will show up on the map for easy reference.

The data is pulled from NYC’s Geoclient API (https://developer.cityofnewyork.us/api/geoclient-api), and from NYC Open Data (https://opendata.cityofnewyork.us/).

Please note that more comprehensive and current data can be found on a given City agency’s website.

This app is provided as a public service. There is no tracking or data collection. The code is written for iOS in Swift, using Apple’s frameworks, with no third-party libraries.
