Life's short - read fast. Gotham Reader offers a new way to tear through your Google Reader feeds at lightning speed.

This is not a cushy, "lean back" experience. Instead, we've created a performance-focused mobile application and powerful web service to help you quickly sort through your feeds, read incredibly fast on mobile or save items to read later on any device. Naturally you can share items with friends, family and co-workers.

Here’s how it works:

Items from your Google Reader account are streamed to the mobile app.

A summary card for each item shows the headline, article summary, source information and estimated read time.

You decide whether you want to:

• TRASH IT by swiping the card to the left

• READ THE ITEM NOW in turbo mode by tapping the card
-> Ideal for reading short articles on the subway
-> Click the Website button to view the article online

• SAVE THE ITEM to read later by swiping down - it's now available through any Chrome browser running the Gotham Reader plugin where you can:
-> Read saved items on your laptop with no-distractions
-> Send them to your Kindle
-> Share them individually or in bulk
-> Print out hard copies
-> Search archives - everything you read on both the mobile device and web are stored in your personal archive.
