A fun, educational, engaging platform for gourmet food & wine lovers to interact with fellow food lovers around the world, whether that’s via sharing & learning new recipes via our community cook book, winning prizes through our weekly virtual challenges, buying quarterly subscriptions getting your favourite recipes delivered direct to your door or starring on our Gourmet Groupies Food Network with your own channel.

Official Competition Rules
Important Notice: Apple is in no way associated or affiliated with the recipe or cooking competitions and events held by Gourmet Groupies and/or within Gourmet Groupies application. Apple is also not a partner nor has any involvement in the structuring, judging, pricing, prize distribution or any other facet of the competitions. All contestants must be aged 17+.

Weekly Recipe Challenge Rules
Categories: Recipe categories are changed on a regular basis at the discretion of Gourmet Groupies management.
Entries: Contestants are eligible to enter unlimited challenge categories as many times as each contestant desires.
Winners: Challenge winners are determined by the number of votes received at the time of challenge closing. Contestant with the highest number of votes will be deemed the winner. In the event of a tie, prizes will be combined and divided by the number of winners.
Prizes: First, second and third prizes are displayed within the App prior to contestants confirming their entry. Prizes are distributed in the form vouchers of the winners choice, however, vouchers must be available for purchase on-line. Prizes of fourth placing and beyond are distributed in the form of a gift card for additional Gourmet Groupie challenge credits. Winners are notified via email of their prizes. No prizes are distributed in the form of cash, bank transfer, cheque or money order. Any prizes not purchased in USD will be subject to any foreign exchange fluctuations and purchased at the rate and time of prize purchase by Gourmet Groupies.
Prize Distribution: Prizes will be communicated to winners within 7 days of contest closing. Prizes will be distributed within 21 days of contest closing. Any prizes not claimed via email conformation within 30 days of contest closure will be automatically forfeited.

Member Challenge Competition Rules
Categories: Recipe categories are changed on a regular basis at the discretion of Gourmet Groupies management. Subscribing members that received an ingredients box for the current quarters challenges are eligible to enter all recipe categories for the current quarter.
Entries: Members are eligible for entry into all challenges for the current quarter.
Entry Requirements: 1)Members must use minimum 1 ingredient from the current ingredients box cycle in each challenge submission. 2)Members will only be eligible for prizes if their recipe entry aligns with the challenge category as outlined in the box. Failure to comply with the above 2 rules may result in challenge disqualification.
