Gower Heritage Centre

Discover 1000 years of history inside Gower Heritage Centre, at the heart of the Gower peninsula. The Centre is a visitor attraction and rural life museum based around a working 12th century water-mill.

Our app will guide you around the heritage centre and into the wider 500 acre site built by Norman De Broes in the 12th century. Learn about the inner workings of the mill and then explore nearby iconic sites, such as the stunning Three Cliffs Bay and Giant’s Grave (both short walks away). Walking directions are provided in the app.

When you start the app you can choose either your device's global language (English, French, Arabic, Bengali, Madarin and Urdu supported) and Welsh.

This app uses Bluetooth Beacons to alert you to the key places of interest within the Heritage Centre. Switch on Bluetooth for the optimum experience. It also makes use of GPS to guide you to places of interest within walking distance of the Heritage Centre. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
